How To Cook Rice Stovetop – The Best Way to Cook Rice
If you are looking for simple and easy ways on how to cook rice, then you have come to the right place. I love preparing different types of meals at home but one of my favorites is stir-frying. It’s so easy to do and it can be prepared ahead of time or even frozen to take along on a trip or special occasion. In this article, I will share with you a simple way of how to cook rice that I use to prepare enough for a few servings of family.
The first step in this method is to buy or make some brown rice. Once you have the rice, you can start cooking by putting it into a pan with about two inches of water inside. Cover it and set it on the stovetop in medium heat. Keep stirring it constantly until it becomes translucent and done.
This cooking method is very simple but effective. When I was in high school, my mom taught us how to cook anything we wanted at home. I learned how to cook beans and pork chops and she taught me how to cook rice. I didn’t know that there was more than one way to cook rice. She told me to mix the water and rice until it became steamed. I didn’t know it at the time but this is how I prefer to eat it now.
It is very simple but the best part is that it cooks fast. You can have your rice in the kitchen within 10 minutes.
This makes it an easy meal to prepare for your family. And, you can always make extra rice whenever you run out. This is why I love this rice cooker.
To top off my quick-cooking adventure, I added a bit of sweetness to it. That’s right, vinegar! I used apple cider vinegar because it gave me a chance to add some different types of flavor to the rice. The nice thing about using vinegar to cook rice is that it does not interfere with the taste of the rice whatsoever. If you are someone who is not fond of vinegar then you can still enjoy your rice by adding your favorite spices or herbs.
My mother taught us how to cook rice stovetop and it was one of the best experiences of my life. We would come home from school and spend hours eating our lunch. I always put leftover rice in the refrigerator so that I could have a late-night snack.
My mom cooked enough rice for everyone to eat, including me. This is how I got into the habit of taking care of my body and getting outdoors as well.
So, I took charge of my family and made everyone share the burden of cooking for us. I bought my rice cooker about six months ago and have been using it every day since. Now that I have two boys, cooking for us has become much more difficult. However, it is great that I have the cooker to hand so that I can easily cook some rice for breakfast in the mornings. It makes preparing food very easy and I love the fact that I no longer have to go to the grocery store and buy a ton of different spices.
I know that when I start to use my rice cooker again to prepare some home-cooked meals for my family, I will be tempted to buy one of those fancy stoves to make it easier for me. However, until then, I will be content with my rice cooker. After all, it is what I love to cook and I really do not think that there is anything better.
