Cook the Perfect Steak in the Oven
Cooking the perfect steak can be a very enjoyable and exciting event for your family if done properly. You can easily find many recipes online and off, but they won’t give you the same results as if you cooked the steak at home. The reason is that no cookbook or recipe can truly give you the kind of unique and individual results that only can be achieved at home. Because of this, you need to take a few extra steps when preparing the meat to ensure a better result when you cook the perfect steak at home.
When it comes to grilling, you want to cook them at home steak medium-rare. When most people think of rare steak, they usually think of it being on a plate in a restaurant waiting to be served. While some people will certainly want to eat this steak as soon as possible, most people would be satisfied with medium-rare. A medium-rare steak is not difficult to prepare and is generally very tasty when it is grilled.
To cook the at-home rare steak, start by cutting the slab into one-inch-thick pieces.
If you want it done quickly, you can use a steak slicer to quickly thin the meat. If you want it a little slower, you can also use the side of a fork to do it. It is important not to cook the rare beef at a high temperature. You should start grilling it at the medium-rare or medium-well to maintain the juices in the meat. Once the meat is at this temperature, you can safely add the seasonings and any additional vegetables that you want to the mix.
When it is time to cook the meat, remember that it should be cooked on direct heat. Don’t cook the steak medium-rare by poaching it or letting it sit on the coals. This will lead to the meat becoming dry and overcooked. Cook it on direct heat for only a few minutes and then turn the burner off.
If you want to cook the perfect steak, make sure that you use high-quality ingredients. Your steak should be seasoned with a mixture of herbs, salt, pepper, Cayenne pepper, garlic, onion powder, black pepper, oregano, and paprika. The seasonings will give the beef its distinct flavor.
After the meat has been seasoned, you can add any basting liquid to help seal in those flavors.
Most people use a brush to apply the marinade. If your grill doesn’t come with a brush, simply use a spoon to apply the marinade to the outside of the steak. Make sure that the marinade is at least two minutes in duration or else the meat will dry out too much while cooking.
During the grilling stage, remember to brush or scrape the exterior of the meat with either a brush or a sponge made of aluminum foil. Also, don’t forget to flip the steak once it has finished grilling. To cook the perfect steak in the shortest amount of time, you’ll also need to know how to clean up afterward. Make sure that you let the grill settle down after each use and pat it dry with paper towels.
One of the best steak recipes for the oven is called a rib-eye. It is considered a cut of meat that is leaner than the sirloin tip.
If you want to cook the perfect rib-eye, you’ll need to trim off about a quarter-inch of fat from the center. You can easily do this by using a sharp pair of scissors or a steak knife. You then fold the strip of fat over the top of the rib-eye and crimp it with a pair of dental flippers.
